Description

This parachute was purchased by me from a local resident during my service in Afghanistan. Parachute of the pilot seat of the Russian bomber SU-17 shot down in Afghanistan during the stay of the Soviet army in the country 1979-1989. According to the story of the previous owner, the Plane was shot down in 1985, the pilot ejected and the parachute was found by Afghan nationalists. This is the exhaust first parachute that opens the pilot's main ejection seat.
