Enamel Stove Top Whistling Kettle Baumann West Germany
Beautiful fruit, vines and leaves and little flowers decorate this vintage whistling white steel kettle by Baumann of West Germany. It has a black base with white checkered lines, brown handle, removable whistler and kettle lid. A lovely accent for your stovetop and useful as well. In very good condition with light user wear. There is a partial hairline fracture in the lid's knob. The whistler's brown trim has a melted edge and the inside has the typical wear use of water mineral residue. The whistler does work very nicely although it is not a high piercing shrill whistle. Measures 7 ½" H to top of handle, 6" H to top of lid handle, 4 ¾" H to rim of kettle. Measures about 7 ½" diameter at widest part of kettle and about 9" handle to whistler. Holds a maximum 8 cups of water.
