    Description

    New Hurst reverse light switch.  This is designed for Hurst brand shifters : Competition Plus 4-Speed, Super Shifter 3-Speed and Master Shifter 3-Speed.  The bracket normally bolts to the transmission side (oval hole), switch in the round hole, and the reverse shift lever engages the switch to close the circuit, thus turning the reverse lights on.  Modifications are required to the bracket, or fabbing your own bracket if you plan on using this on a factory shifter.
    Please be advised that factory GM manual shifters use steel rods from the shifter to the steering column to operate the reverse light switch in the column.  Typically, those levers and rods are missing, and this switch is another option for those capable (you would just extend the 2 wires from the column to the transmission switch).
