Collectible IRVIN GQ 5000 aeroconical parachute

Description

This is an Aeroconical 5000 Emergency Parachute used by military aviators in various types of aircraft. The chute has slots incorporated in the canopy,and two steering lines for maneuverability. It features a three inch wide nylon mesh vent ring 1/3 of the way down from the apex. Water brakes are on alternating gores around the lower lateral band as seen in picture. It has a diameter of 21.3 ft. (6.5m) with twenty shroud lines. Not recommended for live use and
being sold for any thing other than its intended purpose.
