    Description

    Antique Victorian ornate cast iron transom latch or catch complete with original keeper.  In very good working condition.  This latch is very large and over sized  measuring 3" wide x 2" plus the keeper is additional 3/4" x 3".  The pull ring is 1" diameter outside measurement.  The pull ring operates the latch and spring is good - catch works well.   An unusually large size - used vertically with the catch at the top and pulling down on the ring to operate transom, however, it
    could probably be used horizontally for a transom side opening window or perhaps a cabinet.
