2 Victorian Advertising Trade Cards; Lion Coffee, Woolson Spice Co., Toledo Ohio
These 2 Victorian Advertising Trade Cards are for Lion Coffee, Woolson Spice Co., Toledo Ohio. They are in good condition with a little wear (see scan). The larger one, Copyright 1891, measures 5 1/8" x 6 7/8" and depicts a lovely child wearing a Lily on her head. Backside offers Easter Greetings from Lion Coffee. The smaller one measures 3 1/4" x 5" and has some glue residue on backside, probably due to scrapbook mounting. Depicted are 2 Lovebirds on a branch with farmhouse in background. It advertises Lion -- King of Coffees. This card was found only in one pound pkgs. of Lion Coffee; it offered a beautiful picture card in every package when coffee was purchased.
