    Description

    This is a 3" x 5" Victorian trade card of No. 45 Egypt from the 1893 Arbuckles Bros. set that gives a pictorial History of the Sports and Pastimes of all Nations.  This series of cards from 51 different countries/regions (#24 can be Alaska or Greenland) has a checklist of 83 cards when including the variations.
    This card is in VG/EX condition and is the Egypt Type 3 that is the Short Print (SP) version
    .  It is a Type 3, uncommon version because the copyright mark at lower right says "COPYRIGHT, 1893, BY ARBUCKLE BROS.N.Y." in 23-mm wide print. (The common variations for the Egypt card have a copyright mark at lower right that says "PAINTING COPYRIGHTED 1893 ARBUCKLE BROS" in 27-mm (Type 1) or 28-mm (Type 2) wide print.)
